Women of Email Welcomes Three Board Members
Co-Founder Laura Atkins Steps Down from Board of Directors

Saint Peters, MO —Women of Email announces three association members have joined the 501(c)3 nonprofit association’s Board of Directors.

Karin Holmgren of Pitney Bowes, Skyler Holobach of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Charma Parker of The Home Depot are the newest members of the WoE board.

Additionally, in 2019, Aysha Zouain of Deloitte joined WoE board and Josie Garcia of Salesforce Marketing Cloud joined as the Board’s Senior Consultant.

The new board members join Jen Capstraw, President and Co-Founder; April Mullen, Treasurer and Co-Founder; and Kristin Bond, Secretary and Co-Founder.

“We’re excited to bring fresh perspectives to our leadership at the highest level,” said Capstraw. “Each new board member brings experience and ideas to the table which align well with our goals. These women complement our existing leadership beautifully and we’re grateful they’re joining us to level-up Women of Email in 2021 and beyond.”

Holmgren will put her operational expertise to work at WoE, taking a leading role in architecting program procedures and contributing to strategy leadership.

Holobach, who recently served as the Chair of WoE’s Anti-Harassment Committee and as a Community Moderator will ascend to Anti-Harassment Board Sponsor. She’ll also serve as the Board Sponsor for the Mentor Program and will oversee its 2021 relaunch.

Parker, a member of the WoE Speakers Bureau and the first keynote to be placed by the organization, will team up with Speakers Bureau Board Sponsor Jen Capstraw to expand and improve the association’s successful speaker-matching program, ultimately assuming ownership of the program.

Zouain, who organized up to 30 WoE events per year as Meetup Chair, has transitioned to Meetup Board Sponsor.

Garcia supports the Board in a non-voting capacity, contributing to procedural functions.

As part of these changes, Co-Founder and Board Member at Large Laura Atkins will be stepping down from the Women of Email Board.

“When we founded this organization, I envisioned creating a space to encourage and uplift our colleagues in the email space. In a few short years, we’ve made an incredible impact, especially in helping our members grow their careers and forge new paths. While I will miss being a part of the organization, I know this is the right time to open a space for a successor,” said Atkins, Owner of Word to the Wise. “I am looking forward to the next stage of my career and the next stage of Women of Email.”
